In 2003, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays organization sent several players to the Arizona Fall League.

Devil Rays minor league pitchers Dewon Brazelton, Carlos Hines, and Jose Veras, infielders John-Paul Davis and B.J. Upton, outfielders Jonny Gomes and Delmon Young, and catcher Pete LaForest played for the Mesa Solar Sox that year.[1]

In addition, pitcher Todd Williams played as a member of Team USA, which participated in the league in preparation for the COPABE Olympic Qualifier tournament.
