- Pitcher Wilson Alvarez was placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 12, due to an inflammation of the of the AC joint in his left shoulder.[1]
- Pitcher Bryan Rekar was recalled from Triple-A Durham.[1]
2000
- Pitcher Cory Lidle was optioned to Triple-A Durham.[2]
- Pitcher Dwight Gooden was activated and added to the 25-man roster.[2]
2002
- Pitcher Wilson Alvarez was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a right intercostal strain.[3]
- Pitcher Bobby Seay was transferred from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.[3]
- Pitcher Travis Phelps and infielder Jason Smith were optioned to Triple-A Durham.[3]
