- Class-A: Charleston (8-7) lost, 8-3, to Peoria (St. Louis)
Transactions
- The Devil Rays made their first minor league trade in franchise history by acquiring pitcher Terry Harvey from the Cleveland Indians organization in exchange for future considerations.
- Later the same day, they purchased Cesar Devarez from Baltimore.
- Ryan Arevelos was released.
- Sam Voita and Doug Carroll were assigned to Advanced-A St. Petersburg.
