Upton, pitchers Brian Fitzgerald, Jeremi Gonzalez, Kevin McGlinchy, Matt Perisho, Carlos Reyes, Mel Rojas, Eric Sabel, and Blake Stein, catchers Charlie Greene and Angel Pena, and outfielder Chad Mottola were assigned to minor league camp.[1]
