Transactions
- The Devil Rays made their first minor league trade in franchise history by acquiring pitcher Terry Harvey from the Cleveland Indians organization in exchange for future considerations.
- Later the same day, they acquired Cesar Devarez from Baltimore.
- Ryan Arevelos was released.
- Sam Voita and Doug Carroll were assigned to Advanced-A St. Petersburg.
- Travis Whitson and Tom McKinnon were assigned to Class-A Charleston.
- Mike Kimbrell and Matt Kastelic were reassigned to extended spring training.[1]
