- Pitchers Santos Hernandez, Ryan Karp, and John LeRoy, outfielders Greg Blosser and Carlos Mendoza, and catcher Rob Natal were assigned to minor league camp.[1]
2002
- Pitchers Luis de los Santos, Jason Dickson, and Tom Martin, outfielders Kevin Sefcik and Emil Brown, and infielder Ryan Freel were assigned to minor league camp.[2]
