- Pitcher Wilson Alvarez was placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 15, with left elbow tendinitis.[1]

- Outfielder Matt Joyce was activated from the 15-day disabled list.[2]
- Infielder Will Rhymes was optioned to Triple-A Durham from Tampa Bay.[2]
