- Pitcher Tom Martin was placed on the 60-day disabled list with a torn left rotator cuff.[2]
- Pitcher Travis Harper was selected from Triple-A Durham.[2]

- Outfielders Damian Rolls (fractured right thumb) and Ben Grieve (left thumb infection, retroactive to April 18) were placed on the 15-day disabled list.[3]
