- Outfielder Rich Butler was placed on the 15-day disabled list (right hand fracture), retroactive to May 10.[1]
- Outfielder Randy Winn was recalled from Triple-A Durham to Tampa Bay.[1]
2004
- Infielder Eduardo Perez was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a torn left achilles.[2]
- Infielder Damian Rolls was recalled from Triple-A Durham.[2]
