In 2005, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays organization sent several players to the Arizona Fall League.

Devil Rays minor league pitchers Jamie Shields, Brian Stokes, and Wade Townsend, infielders Wes Bankston and Elliot Johnson, and outfielder Jason Pridie played for the Phoenix Desert Dogs that year.[1]
