- The Devil Rays announced the signing of their first player in franchise history, Adam Sisk, a right-hander from Maryland who pitched for Edison Community College in Ft. Myers, FL.[1]

- Outfielder Edward Dorville and infielder Hector Rodriguez were released from Rookie-Class GCL Rays.[2]

- Pitcher Julian Aybar was placed on the 60-day disabled list at Rookie-Class DSL Rays, retroactive to June 28.[3]
